Born and raised in South India near the pristine beaches of Neelankari. Schooled by her mother and sisters in natural skin care methods from an early age. After attending an ayurvedic college, she became a skin care educator at Pivot Point Academy in Chennai. For five years she trained legions of young estheticians fueling the booming day spa industry in India. Migrated to New York in 2011 and graduated from Dermalogica Academy two years later.

Recruited by the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa in White Plains and promoted within one year to the lead of the skin care division and certified as a Red Door Educator. At Red Door she developed a team of expert skin therapists skilled in her unique skin treatment protocols thus providing their guests an experience otherwise not available in the market.

As a result of the negative impact of the Covid 19 pandemic, the Red Door Company closed all its 30 locations and commenced a bankruptcy liquidation. Out of this crisis, a brand is born – Farida Skin Care Studio is launched in downtown White Plains as a destination that provides each of its clients with a custom designed journey to healthy and beautiful skin.
