Massage Therapist

We are seeking a full time or part-time on-site Licensed Massage Therapist at Farida Studio. The role will involve providing therapeutic massages, including body massages and treatments, such as scrubs and wraps. Modalities include cupping, pre-natal, hot stone, Swedish and deep tissue.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State license as a Massage Therapist
• Experience in all massage techniques
• Knowledge of different massage techniques and their benefits
• Physical stamina: being able to perform massages for extended periods
• Maintaining ethics and professional conduct a must
• Ability to work well in a team and individually
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in a spa or wellness center is a plus

Note:
All prospective hires will go through an in-person interview, followed by a hands-on practical in Studio.

Esthetician

We’re seeking a part-time Esthetician at Farida Studio. You will be responsible for providing a range of skin care treatments, including facials, microdermabrasion, microcurrent, and other advanced skin care procedures. You will also provide waxing and/or threading hair removal services.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State license as an Esthetician
• Experience in providing exceptional customer care
  
• Sales skills to promote and sell skin care products and services
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work well in a team and individually
  
• Experience with advanced skin care techniques/modalities including HydraFacial
• Laser hair removal and laser skin treatments (Genesis/IPL) certification is a plus
