The Path To Yoga Practice 

The Yoga for YOU experience provides a path to the union of body, breath, mind, and spirit. Our yoga is grounded in the ancient traditions, using postures (asana) in combination with breath work (pranayama) and mindfulness through guided meditation. 

 

We accommodate all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced, in a calm and supportive space filled with positive energy and love.

In many ways the practice of yoga has lost its way. The main focus has become building muscles or losing weight. Warm yoga, hot yoga, sweat and exhaustion! Rushing to grab a spot before the room fills. Hardly enough space to extend your pose. Little to no access to teacher feedback or corrections. Virtual classes leave you disconnected from the real energy of the experience.

Classes

Our small class size allows you to develop a personal connection with your yoga teachers. Your yoga practice will deepen in such an intimate setting. 

 

Morning yoga sets the tone for the rest of the day. By setting your intention early, you will take control of the day ahead. Morning yoga also eases morning stiffness, helps with digestion and metabolism, increases concentration, and gives you a boost of energy. “Surya namaskar” – Good Morning, Sunshine! 

 

Afternoon yoga gives you a refreshed break from your busy day. Especially after a stressful morning, afternoon yoga allows you to reset your thoughts, replenish your energy, and fill up on positive vibes for the rest of the day. 

 

Evening yoga helps you let go of the day’s fatigue and restore calmness and mindfulness. You will be ready to share your peaceful frame of mind with others and fall easily into a deep and restful sleep.

FAQs

• What should I bring to class?  

We recommend that you bring a towel and a water bottle. We have yoga mats, props, and blankets available for your use. Of course, you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. 

 

• What should I wear to class? 

Wear comfortable, breathable workout clothes. Be prepared to be barefoot – socks should not be worn to avoid slipping. 

 

• Where can I park? 

We have ample free parking within steps of the Farida Studio entrance. The spaces in the parking lot and the parking garage are freely available for your use. View Parking Map  

 

• Can I join the class if I arrive late? 

This is Yoga for YOU! We want you to have a positive and stress-free experience. We encourage you to arrive at least ten minutes before the scheduled class time. Early arrival will give you an opportunity to set up for class mindfully. 

 

If you do run late, please join the class quietly with a minimum distraction to your fellow participants. Our small class size will allow the teacher to bring you into the flow once you are ready. The warm welcome will bring a smile to your face. 

 

• What yoga “level” do you offer? 

Our class size is intentionally limited to seven students to allow the teacher to provide individual attention to each participant. Beginners, intermediate and advanced yoga practitioners all find their own path side by side in this warm and loving space. 

 

• Do you have a locker and showers? 

We have safely secured and monitored cubby available for your personal items right next to the Yoga and Meditation Room. We do not have shower facilities. 

 

• What is your cancellation policy? 

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. We provide this so that fellow students may access the class and to ensure that our teachers are fairly compensated for their classes. If you fail to cancel 24 hours in advance, your payment cannot be refunded or applied to another class reservation. 

 

• Can I schedule a private class? 

Yes, we can schedule individual or small group classes. Please call 845-553-4455 for pricing and scheduling.
